Temple Square

I would have to say that this was one of my highlights of our holiday. All season we were trying to make it to Temple Square to see the lights, but we never made it up. We decided to go the Monday after Christmas for Family Home Evening. We took the kids on a tour of the Conference Center, and they thought that was really neat. Cade is still talking about it. The kids were great the entire night, the weather was perfect and Temple Square is beautiful. It was the perfect night!

This was Chase at the end of the night. He's had it with being in the stroller. After this, I got him out and let him run around and climb on the stairs of the Conference Center. He was a much happier boy when we went to put him in the car seat to go home.

SLEDDING
We've had so much fun during Christmas break! Sledding, movies, lazor tag, swimming and we can't forget about watching the Utah Utes win the Sugar bowl to name a few. I'm sad that the kids have to go back to school on Monday. It has been so nice not having to keep to a schedule. We had a good time sledding with our friends, the Sautters. At first, Chase wasn't too excited about being bundled in all his snow attire, but Olivia and Cade had a great time sledding with their friends!

Christmas Day
Cade and Olivia were so excited Christmas Eve for Santa to come. We made a bed for them on our floor in our bedroom. We kept checking on them and they were both wired. I got a book for Cade to read to try and help him sleep. I think they both feel asleep after 11:00 (we put them in bed around 9:00). They did, however, sleep in until 7:30.

We spent Chrismas morning at our house and let the kids play with their toys. Around 2:00 we went to Nana's house and had a yummy dinner and of course, opened our gifts to eachother!

This is Bob! My mom's new husband of One year! They will be celebrating their 1st wedding anniversary December 28th

To top off the night, my brother proposed to his girlfriend, Vanice. We are so excited for them. I helped by brother propose by lighting a bunch of candles in the snow. He bought some roses and then my sister, Ashlee, and I put the rings around a rolled up rose petal. It looked beautiful in the snow with all the candles and flowers. They are thinking about getting married sometime in February! Congratulations!!!!!

Christmas Eve

The kids were so excited all day for Christmas. Cade and Olivia kept asking when they could open their presents. They asked if they could take a bubble bath in our tub which they love because when you turn on the jets, the bubbles get huge. To say the least they had a blast and water everywhere!

My three cute guys! Notice the presents on the table. Chase thought it was fun to open the presents, so we had to put them up out of his reach.

Every year we split Christmas Eve and Christmas Day between families. This year we were with Grandma and Grandpa Leifson for Christmas Eve. The kids got lots of fun presents--Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

Olivia's Christmas Program
I love this time of year because I love going and watching my kids in all their programs. Olivia did so well in her Christmas program.
