CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!! WHAT???

I thought it would be fun to do this chocolate fountain for Valentines, but decided against it since the kids already had soooo many treats. So, we did it for our FHE treat! We dipped strawberries, bananas, pretzels, chocolate cake and little ice cream balls! Of course the kids LOVED the CHOCOLATE!! Cade kept asking if he could put a pretzel and have it crush it up. We kept saying NO! We were almost done dipping when Cade got a pretzel in the motor and we had chocolate flying EVERYWHERE!! All over every one's clothes, the counter top, and the floor. We would've been in trouble if that would've happened in the beginning when there was A LOT of chocolate. To end the fun night, I spent an hour scrapping chocolate off the floor and counters

KIDS SAY THE FUNNIEST THINGS

Last night I was making dinner and realized that I didn't have soy sauce, so I called around to my neighbors to see if I could find some. The Amussens had soy sauce, so I told them I would send one of my kids up to get it. Both Cade and Olivia were at the table doing their homework and before I even hung up the phone and asked one of them to go get it, Cade responded:

"I'M NOT INTERESTED."

"Oh Really," I said. "You're not interested?"

Cade said, "No, I'm not interested!"

I was laughing so hard. He knew I was going to ask before I even could hang up the phone. It ends up that Cade did get the soy sauce!!

HAPPY VALENTINES

I love Valentines!! I guess because my mom made such a big deal about it when we were younger. When we were younger we would make treats and door-bell ditch our neighbors. This year I decided to start the tradition and the kids had a BLAST!! Of course we had a bad storm and the roads, driveways and sidewalks were SO SLIPPERY! So, that made for a tough ditch before the door opended, but we were successful. We decided to send treats to all of the single/widowed sister in our ward!

U of U gymnastics meet

Olivia and I went up to the lady UTES gymnastics meet. There were four different teams competing and the Huntsman Center was packed. BYU, Cedar City, Utah and Texas were the four teams! We left the boys at home and had a fun "date" together!

We parked below the Huntsman center and rode the tracks back up! This is Olivia swinging on the the handle you hold on too! She later told me that her favorite part of the whole night was riding on the train!!

Family FUN!! This is what is happening in our house at about 8:30 pm when I am trying to get the kids to wind down before bed. Rich is throwing them around on the bed, or doing stunts like these! The kids LOVE it and I LOVE to watch!

Our SWEET baby CHASE! He cracks us up! He is so CUTE when he's getting his picture taken. He's such a "CHEESER!"

SO CUTE!! Chase loves, LOVES, LOVES it outside. Rich went out to shovel the driveway and Chase grabbed this little shovel and was helping Rich. It was SOOOOO cold outside and his little hands were freezing. We had to pry the shovel out of his hands as he was SCREAMING. He was so mad. Two year old temper trantums!! Gotta love 'em!!
Olivia got a new baby carrier for Christmas, so Chase has his baby in her baby carrier, and Olivia has our real Bjorn with her baby in it! SO CUTE!!
He loves his bike and he brings me his helmet so I can put it on him. I'm in trouble come spring time. I have a feeling that we will be spending a lot of time outside! Every time we get out of the car he yells for his bike.

WITH A SMILE LIKE THAT, HOW COULD YOU NOT LOVE HIM??????
