4th OF JULY

After we got home from Heber Valley with the Leifson's we raced home, showered and got dressed in our red, white and blue and head down to my moms house for another party. It is a tradition every year and this year we got family pictures in my moms beautiful back yard. This is one of Rich's favorite things.....NOT! Thanks, Rich, for enduring the family pictures on the 4th, I thought they turned out really cute!

These pictures were from Heber Valley and I wanted to include them. This is Chase and his cousin Ian and they are only 3 weeks apart in age, and they always want what the other has. In this picture they are fighting over the rope swing and it is a tug-a-war. Later that day, Ian wanted to share his hat with Chase and Chase didn't want anything to do with Ian's hat. Chase would wait until Ian put the hat on his head and then Chase would take the hat off and throw it in the bushes. You should have seen the look of devastation on Ian's face, he couldn't understand why Chase didn't want his hat! We were all laughing so hard!

HAPPY JULY!!

July always is a very busy month and this year has been no different. For the 4th of July we went with family to Heber Valley Girls Camp and spent a night there and got to spend time on the like in the paddle boats and canoeing. The next morning we got to go as a family and do one of the challenge courses. The first course you had to climb up a tree, walk across a line and then repell down a tree. Cade made it through the entire course and Olivia climbed almost to the top of the tree and then got to swing down. I also got to try it and have to admit that it was a lot of fun.

Cade repelling down the tree.

This is about 40 or so feet up and Cade at first didn't want to go across, but we were all cheering and he made it across and then the best part was the repelling down the tree.

This was also a really fun challenge course. We had to get every member of our family on this little board and we had to work together to figure out how to get everyone on without falling off. One person would grab onto the rope and would swing over to the others and they would catch them and then the next person would swing over. We didn't quite make it, but we had fun trying.

Hiking the G

Rich and Cade decided to hike the G a couple of weeks ago, but they didn't take the trail that takes you up to the G. They decided to cut across the mountain and blaze their own trail. Rich called me from his cell phone and told me they were sitting on the G, so I went out my front door and from my porch I can see the G, so I got out my binoculors and I could see Rich and Cade sitting on the G!

I love this picture of Cade with the G in the back ground! Cade loves to hike with his dad and has wanted to do this for a long time!

This is a picture over looking the view from the G.
