1st Grade Christmas Concert

Olivia had her 1st grade Christmas concert!!

I love the 1st grade Chrismas concert! She did great!

Christmas fun all month long...

We took the kids down to Riverwoods in Provo and rode this cute carriage ride. Afterwards we visited with Santa and Chase got to sit on his lap. We had a great time!!

Chase had his preschool Christmas program. Who knew he loved to sing (so loud) and was born to dance. He was front and center in the program and was on cue during the entire dance.

He has come a long way since the beginning of the year where he would cry and refuse to dance. Way to go buddy!

This year Cade was a hobo, Olivia a cheerleader, Chase is Buzz Light Year and Anna a cow!! I think they look adorable!

We had our annual family Halloween party at my moms house. The kids always look forward to our party!

Chase didn't want to go trick-or-treating this year. We kept asking him to put on his Buzz costume, but he did NOT want too. He passed out candy to EVERY trick-or-treater that came to the door! It was so cute. Also, this year it was pouring rain outside, so I wasn't too bummed that he didn't want to go out!

UEA in Las Vegas

We decided to head down to Las Vegas while the kids were out of school for fall break. We had a wonderful weekend and the weather was so nice. We played and played and the kids had a blast visiting Grandma and Grandpa. We went swimming, played tennis, saw the dancing waters at the Bellagio Hotel, lunch and scooter rides in the park and Rich and Cade went on the Stratosphere. TWICE!

We had to stop so we could get Anna out of the car seat for awhile. We drove off the road for a while and found a spot where Rich and the kids could get out a hike around. Anna did great on her first road trip!

Grandma and Grandpa took us to the Secret Gardens at the Mirage. We saw the dolphins and baby tigers and lions. We all liked the dolphins the best!

I loved this park!! We celebrated Olivia's birthday in Las Vegas and her Grandpa gave her a new blue scooter. Chase saw Olivia's new scooter and said, "I wish I had a new blue scooter," and Grandpa said just one minute and came back with a blue scooter for Chase! They were both so happy and had a blast riding them in the park!

Anna's Blessing Day

We blessed Anna on October 10th. She looked beautiful in her blessing dress. My mom works with someone in the temple who hand crochets these blessing dresses and gave her two of them for her girl grandbabies. We had a wonderful day with our family.

Why I love being a parent...

I love being a mom because there is nothing better when your child comes up to you and gives you a great big hug and tells you that you're the "best mom in the whole world."

...and then there are moments like these. So sweet one moment and then can turn oh so quickly! The joys of parenthood and raising a 3 yr. old. Thank goodness they out grow it!
